Travelling!

Hello!

I’m going to be away for nearly 2 weeks, so I won’t be able to send emails or post pictures for the next little while.

Starting Friday, I’m heading to London for one day. Our economics prof is taking us to the Halifax Bank of Scotland for a private tour, followed by a walking tour of London and a trip to the Bank of England Museum.

Friday night, I’m leaving with a small group (Jeremy, Dennis, Justin, Ryan and Laura) for Dublin by train / ferry. We’re staying there until Sunday night, when we’ll fly back to London and take a train back to the castle.

Monday morning, we’re getting up really early to take a coach for our midterm trip. The ISC takes everyone, so it’s free for us. We’ll be in Brussels, Belgium until Tuesday night, then Paris. Most everyone returns on Friday, but I’ll sticking around with some friends (Caleigh, Kayla, Selena, Erica and Lisa) until Monday morning. I figure if we’re in Paris, we might as well stay a little longer!

I fully intend to have Guinness in Dublin, Belgium waffles in Belgium, and baguettes and croissants in Paris! And the most exciting part is that in Paris, we get to go into the Musee d’Orsay an hour before it opens because we’re a teaching group! So we’ll be there for the entire morning, and at the Louvre for the afternoon. I’m very excited about that.

I’ll be back on Monday, February 28th.
