This is Ruth from Wisconsin (or, as she says it "Wis-can-sin"); she studies in Milwaukee ("Mill-waaaaaauk-ee"). Anybody remember Laverne and Shirley? Sure you do; Laverne ALWAYS wore shirts with a big loopy "L" on them, kinda like Ruth's shirt with the loopy "R" on it, shown here. Well, Laverne and Shirley lived in Milwaukee, too. Anyone need me to draw the connection?

The culmination of the night: 3 profs and 2 students sing "House of the Rising Sun".
